Some of my systems hold onto their results for a long time before reporting them up to the database, how can I churn more cycles per day?

One way to do so is raising the resource share for BURP.
Then reporting and getting WUs happens in shorter times and the delay is only growing to a specific time.
For example:
I have about 60 projects and every project has around 1,5% of time when you let the resource share on 100.
For BURP I\'ve set the resource share to 1500, which gives it 20%.
The client immediately asks for new work and reports it much faster, when WUs are finished.

According to the amount of projects you have you can play a bit around with the resource share to get the appropiate behaviour you want.

60 projects? Damn! I used to have 10, but I\'m keeping it trimmed to 5 so I can see my credit make a difference.

Hehe, I\'m a bit of an ATA (if you know the term ;-)), so I\'m participating in all projects, but of course I don\'t crunch them all simultaneously, as you can see from the RACs in the sig. ;-)
I would if I could, but only have two comps.
Currently focused are mainly BURP, then MilkyWay and Cosmo and some others beside.

I think that turning off the additional work buffer may help to cycle WUs faster.

My main computer is set to grab a day or two\'s worth of work in case it\'s offline for a while, and this causes it to repeatedly ask BURP for more work. This, in turn, causes BURP to tell my computer it\'s not allowed to have more work at the moment, and that it should wait an hour before asking again.

On the other hand, my new box is set to grab 0.0 days worth of extra work, so it only asks for more work when there\'s an idle CPU, which means BURP never tells it to back off.
