129 you mean (the one currently running)?

About 12000 hours of work on a modern PC (500 frames with 5 times redundancy and estimated 4-5 hours per frame).

This, if successful, will be the largest and most CPU intensive session ever rendered on BURP so far.

How fast are the new WUs sent out?

I got one WU around midnight, but it ran through without suspending, because the scheduler on that machine switched to the "earliest deadline policy". I have set a connection time of 0.75 days and run BURP, Einstein, Protein and Seti.
Should i increase my connetion time for this test?

I did not get anoter WU yet

Edit: Got another WU now, same behavior wit an increased connection time of 1 Day
I am using BOINC 4.42 on this machine

I just installed boinc 4.43 (was running 4.25) after I realised I had 3 burp WU on my PC this morning. After some initial "fun" trying to get boinc to start correctly, the policy became "earliest deadline policy" just like Raimund pc. I am running 5 other projects with the earliest deadline on those being the 25/5/5 (e@h).
2 WU finished without any suspend/resume activity, the 3rd and final looks as if it will do the same. I did however do a manual suspend with the final WU, and then a manual resume about 2 hours later with no problems though. I'm not sure if the boinc policy was due to me just installing 4.43 but perhaps the WU deadline to test the resume/suspend should be increased to about a week.

My BURP did what was expected :)

Although the time between switches is strange, just a few seconds, but I think this is of BOINC selecting the result with shortest deadline first.

The new scheduler with the "earlieset deadline policy" has been introduced in BOINC 4.31.

I Did a manual suspend / resume and it seemd to work just fine.

How fast are the new WUs sent out?

Currently with a limited rate of 5 units per 260 secs.

No particular reason except that that was what the test-mirrors could manage at the time. Towards the end of the animation workunits where sent out at 5WU per 10 sec. All workunits have been sent out now, just waiting for them to return.

The connect time should actually be decreased to 0.1 to 0.25 for BURP since BOINC multiplies this by 2. I have mine at 0.5 and BOINC goes into "earliest deadline policy" about 23 hours prior to deadline. If you have 1.0 days, BOINC should go into "earliest" as soon as it gets a BURP WU because it will not connect again until after the deadline.

The time that it notices is at 24 hours. However, it leaves the current result running for the rest of the sime slot.
