I just received a BURP WU and I realize they are more intensive this time but with a 1200 Mhz Athlon and 512 RAM, it has run for 20 minutes and is still showing 826 hours to completion with 0.05% comleted. Is that right or is the timing still acting up with the blender?

hours to comletion will drop significantly as the WU proceeds.
But with your machine speed, expect the WU to take about 2-3 days to finish.
This is just a guess based on my numbers.

Yes it did reduce after a time, down to 22 hours but has slowly crawled back up to around 51 hours during the night. As I saw that the timer issue was one of the things being tested, that was the main reason for questioning the high amount of initial time.

Well it looks like this WU won't be finished before the deadline but I saw Janus mention in other posts that even late units should get credit and are still valuable to the testing process so I'll crunch on. This is just an example of part of the fun in alpha and beta testing and someone has to do it. LOL.

Well on my 3GHz Prescott I've been running a WU for 4hrs and it's only 22%... I still have 14hrs left.

I've also noticed and the "To Completion" time has increased from 12hrs (2hrs ago) to 14hrs.

Since the timer is also being tested in this, here's another update.

My WU finished up in about 32 hours on a 1200 Mhz AMD with 512 RAM. Initially it started at 826 hours as mentioned in the first post and eventually dropped to about 22 hours and worked its way back up.

At the point where it was 99% complete, it still was showing an estimated 12 hours to completion although it finished up in less than 30 minutes.

I hope some of the above is of use in the testing evaluation.
