There is currently no work available, so most of the services have been temporarily disabled (it sometimes makes it easier to work with the database when the services aren't running).
The feeder and other services will be back online when someone sends in some art to render or whenever the next test session is going to be run (which should be around the middle of this month if everything goes right).

That's a 6 year old thread, but yes, the feeder and in fact most of the server has been down until 16.00 UTC today due to a local power glitch and follow-up investigation into why it happened. Although the system keeps running during a power outage many of the services are shut down when the emergency batteries are getting close to depletion. The services are mostly all back to normal now and batteries are recharging.

The power issue was traced to somewhere in the last leg of the power installation but could not be traced to any specific problematic device or wiring. No devices had been turned on or off at the time when the power issue occurred and no fault was present when the power was put back on. The emergency power shutdown was triggered by a residual-current circuit breaker (or ground fault circuit interrupter) that is also responsible for two other power phases in addition to the one that the BURP cluster is connected to.
We will be getting additional information about the incident from the power company tomorrow (when their monitoring device syncs up).
This may have been just an overenthusiastic circuit breaker, if it happens again it will have to be replaced.

One consequence of the outage was the discovery of a recently installed switch that was not properly hooked up to backup power. The necessary steps are being taken to get that switch onto the backup power grid as well.

I'm sorry, I'm stupid. Next time I create a new thread. :-(

Hehe, no problem - luckily the server isn't down too often ;)
