Probably over at ORE/Renderfarm.fi.
They have almost constant work available there now.

In case you've been wondering what I've been doing lately I just came back from a trip to beautiful Venice (in Italy) where I spent about a week setting up a project for work:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EWxo9qI-STo (the cool part)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NAYgFtJAPro (longer, but better view)
The youtube video isn't really showing it very well (at first glance you may think that this is an ordinary projection screen) but it is a projection of a virtual world onto a real-world 3D-print of the same geometry. The technical stuff is crazy and involves 3 accurately calibrated projectors shooting light onto the scene.

And a bit about BURP: Today we got a new internet pipe to assist the main pipe in bulk data transfers. It's currently at a very low speed but hopefully this weekend I'll be able to pull the cables and get everything throttled up so that we can start rendering those two big sessions waiting in the renderqueue at reasonable speeds.
This is the 4th internet endpoint at the server and getting all the routing right is starting to get fun. Apart from the two big lines there's a one-directional one which is going to be used together with the cache/mirror network (once it gets back up-to-date with new software, that is) and an experimental one which is currently very unstable.

It's been a another crazy month at work, here's some of the outcome:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oonXSVq1L9I

It is a 3D scan of an actual statue modified in a virtual 3D world and then projected back onto the statue using a realtime 3D engine (Unity3D, more details here).
Calibration points were measured using Blender.

And a bit about BURP:
This week I've been looking at the clients, trying to prep them for all the new nice features that are in the bag for this winter. Linux client is running but the Windows client still needs more work done.

Got no WUs since ages... :-(
The sessions are all too small in the last time, when I discover that a session runs all WUs were sent out already. Can't anyone submit a real big session anymore? ;-)
