My comments are as follows:
Since most of us are probably using Boinc4.45 (educated guess) with a deadline of 1 day my host goes into deadline mode immediately.... and never pauses..... the other Boinc projects (CPDN excluded) are either a week or 2 weeks in workunit deadline. So if you REALLY want to test the pause/resume I suggest you run a test of a 1 week deadline at minimum... more clients will then pause automatically(I think manually doesn't count as a true test)Did ANYONE see the client preempt with 4.45?

I saw it pre-empt twice; once when it slipped out of EDF mode for some reason or another (i think i told BOINC to update a project), and once when it tried to run benchmarks and BURP paused, but CPDN did not (that was a weird one; i haven't ever seen CPDN fail to pause).

log of the first instance:

6/29/2005 2:26:33 PM|BURP|Starting result 131in0.zip__ses0000000131_frm0000000043.wu_11 using blender version 4.19

In the next line (lost), BURP paused one unit (I had two units at the same time during this).

I did see it pause/resume automatically and correctly once (at a time I was looking ;)). At that time I only had LHC wu's besides BURP. (BOINC cc 4.43)
