Due to a lack of updates, support, bugfixes or even acknowledgement of our messages, I'll be taking my entire team off this project until things improve. The last couple of 36 hour-plus/eternally crunching WUs that produce a crash message when aborting them really did it for me.
It's really too bad, this service could have been an amazing resource for the rendering community. I don't think that requests from users such as myself have been unreasonable; all we want are functional BOINC pages (to track hosts, work, preferences, etc) and a message from the admins every now and then. Even if you're too busy with other endeavors to actually fix anything, bad news is better than no news.
Until then, I'll be continuing to crunch for BURP and other projects to keep my hosts busy. I don't want to sound the vindictive sort, but I would encourage both my fellow crunchers and the artists to take their work and crunching power elsewhere for the time being, since we do not seem to be appreciated here.
I hope things improve soon, though given the track record over the past few years I'm not terribly optimistic at this point.
