Also hijacking this to request that we name the clients based on platform. e.g. Blender v4.87 Linux (mt) Blender v4.88 Win (mt) Makes it easier to understand what client is being run in the results page without looking at the computer/os that person is using. |

It is pretty standard procedure by now. Whenever a new Blender version arrives at blender.org we finish up on any currently rendering long-term sessions, clear the renderqueue and then update. |

Accepting more sessions seems to be counter productive towards that goal, no? Especially when we have a long session (2141) still unfinished. The amount of bug fixes in Cycles is quite high with 2.71. |

That's how we roll, dude. Nothing at BURP happens instantly. Funny fact of the day: The development computer that creates the Windows builds is called "Funky". The fastest client switch we have made was around 4 days after release, the slowest switch was something like 2-3 years. |

Since I have a lot of rendering left on 2141, when the others are done, you can cancel that one and I can restart at the last frame so you can get the upgrade in...I'll also try to optimize a little better to speed it up for the next upload. |

The whole farm will now be on your project, it should go by a lot faster now anyway. Probably done tomorrow or the day after. |
