I'm using an app_config.xml file to limit BURP to six of my eight "Processors" BOINC Manager shows the active WU as "Running "6 CPUs", but Task Manager only shows Blender using 13% (ie 1/8) of total capacity with only two other BOINC tasks running. Previous WUs would show in task manager with an appropriate percentage. Any idea what is going on, here? TIA ken (it is one of of the 2518 WUs if it makes any difference) ![]() ![]() |

...but Task Manager only shows Blender using 13% (ie 1/8)... When it is happening at the beginning of the session I would assume that this is during the load of the scene. Since this is a bigger file with almost 190 MB it can take a while before all the processors are going in action. Also, during the Sunflower event there were parts during the rendering where not all cores are used. This is normal. Probably the same here. Life is Science, and Science rules. ...but Task Manager only shows Blender using 13% (ie 1/8)... Well, it is at 36.5 hours elapsed and 28 remaining. We'll see what happens ![]() ![]() |
