I just had a work unit from session 2824 run for > 54 hours. The remaining time had expired, blank but the progress was stalled or hovering at 99.X%. Have there been any issues with the 2824 WUs? I have a large 8-core system, 32GB RAM, and plenty of HDD. Unfortunately, I had abort this job because it was causing issues with the BOINC client.

Today I got to work units (ID 9428) that stalled at 0.58% and started to expand the estimated runtime over the roof. The first one is already over 1594h to go. I'll have to abort both of them.

Run time percentage and estimated time calculations don't work for BURP, it is a beta project.

I don't know where you got that id from, but since there's only 1 project being rendered right now, I'll assume you meant 2906. This is a heavy project that may take a few days for the average machine to complete. If you're not ok with that for whatever reason, cancel it.

Same here, had one for 4 hours today. Aborted two of them. Thanks for the info, now I won't abort the rest. :P

The estimates in the BOINC client don't work. You can get a rough idea of how long a job will take by looking at the "Server status" page, it shows the range (high/low) and average computing time in hours for recent sessions. Right now, it looks like the maximum time a task should take is about 6 hours, but if you get an especially hard piece or have a slower than average computer it could take a little longer.
