It doesn't happen often that there's work in the queue for my Windows laptop (4 GB) but it just so happens that right now there is.

Unfortunately there's a 9 GB session in front so my laptop is told, "No! You are most feeble in the way of memory!"

The 1.5 GB tasks presumably won't go out until all the 9 GB tasks are distributed and then we all know what will happen - the big machines will come in and eat the lot.

Any chance of an IF <feeble> THEN <ignore_proper_tasks_and_give_tiny_tasks> exception?

If that would be true then why is session 3107 at 2% now?
There's no such thing as first-in-first-out when you look at the list of the server status. The server does check what requirements you have and gives you proper work units. There must be another reason why you won't get any.

That's right - the BOINC client unfortunately wants to inform you about your feebleness every time it skips a result. That doesn't mean it couldn't actually find anything suitable also, it just wants you to know. Feeble you!

If you still aren't getting any work you should look past that line in the log and see if there is any other line stating why you aren't getting work - typically it is a setting in the preferences or something like that.

Ah yes, the delightful BOINC message that tells me that BOINC runs 99% of the time and computation is enabled 99% of the time but the tasks won't complete. This followed shamefully after the "You, sir, are most feeble" message in Humilation Red.

Cause? Some massive Gerasim tasks.
Solution: Suspend Gerasim!
Result: I am MIGHTY!

{Now, 15 minutes in and the 3 minute task (BOINC est) has 8d 18h remaining. Boinc Manager is just a joy}
