Hint: Your image suffers from an effect called "colour banding". This happens when (intentionally or otherwise) creating very smooth gradients between two almost identical colours where there are very few colours in between that can actually be represented by 8-bit per channel RGB.
You can avoid this by adding dithering in the properties editor: Rendering -> Post Processing -> Dither (somewhere around 0.7-1.2 would probably be cool).

Also, BURP is a lot more efficient when you give it a lot of work to do - like an animation rather than just a single still image.

Hello,
got at least one part on this computer.
Maybe I can send it back on a 3rd of January, but very probably not this year... :D

BURP - 0.031% - Calculs en cours (4 CPUs) - 20:01:09 - 2690d+ (and counting) - 03/01/17 13:42 - Blender (CPU) 5.09 (mt) - ses0000003287frm0000000040prt00068_1

Let's hope that it will finish one day ;-)

Chomping through this.. or so my end says!

The % count and my hours to this task are not going up?!?! Is that a burp end issue or my pc is telling lies?

I'm seeing the same issue. I have two machines with one work unit on each of the machines.

My progress is stuck at 0.031% on both machines. One has been running for 7Hrs and has an estimated time of 1023 days left.

The other has been running for 3 hours and has 392 days left. I'm afraid, if I don't see any progress soon, I'll cancel them, unless someone says this is normal.

mine have always shown the same progress, from searching that seems to be a burp thing... mines finished in the last hour ish... doesn't show under my profile as working on or awaiting validation however... if I get any credit so be it, do it more to help and for when I have our own projects :)

Unfortunately, the progress estimation doesn't work... The best you can do is use the runtime data from the Server Status page to try and guess how long the tasks will take, or compare with a wingman with similar computer specs.
