Hi, It's been a while since I have been around these parts :) I recently discovered Gridcoin (https://gridcoin.us/) which is a cryptocurrency that, instead of using processing power to essentially only generate heat like Bitcoin and Ethereum, uses BOINC project tasks as proof of work to then reward its' miners. The Gridcoin network is at this point one of the strongest teams on many BOINC projects, and they are open for adding new projects to their whitelist. Adding BURP to their whitelist would most likely multiply the computing power available to BURP many times, though would BURP be able to supply a steady amount of tasks to the network? Cheers, |

Well, personally I'm not a big fan of this Gridcoin and cryptocurrency stuff, but that aside: ...though would BURP be able to supply a steady amount of tasks to the network? At the moment probably not, there's rarely much work to do most of the time. You are member here since 2009, yet you haven't much credits as I see, so you obiously did not follow the forum or the work here much, so you don't know how it was in the past. Of course there were times where the workflow was better, but I doubt that will chance much in the near future. Life is Science, and Science rules.
