Wow, just finished the first two WUs, both about half an hour processing time.
Processor usage is good, does fluctuate a bit, but constantly all 4 cores are mostly over 94%. :-)
RAM usage wasn't that high as required yet, but I guess that's varying with the WUs.
Now I wonder what credit there will be for - but I guess validation could take time..

Actually credit is one of the reasons this session was run - with the new BOINC backend credit will be calculated in a different way compared to earlier (same numbers, but transferred differently from the clients to the server). Hopefully everything should be exactly like normal.

Uh-oh, I hope this isn't referring to the credit scheme David Anderson implemented in the new server software. AFAIK, it is horrible and doesn't work well.
Strangely enough and looking on my results, I fear that this is the case.
Credits are varying a lot, some examples right now:
The best ones yet:
WU 1, 2 - good values with over 92 credits per hour!
Worst ones yet:
WU 1, 2 - not even 40 credits per hour!

I see the tasks were cancelled. Will they be re-issued at some point? I was looking forward to trying out the MT app.

Actually that is exactly the scheme that we will be using. The reasoning is quite simple: the old credit system was reduced to this in a recent patch from BOINC:

srip->claimed_credit = 0;

We will be running the new credit system for a couple of months to gather enough statistical data to evaluate whether it performs well after the initial burn-in period where it should slowly move towards a more even credit distribution.

I see the tasks were cancelled. Will they be re-issued at some point?

Yes, probably sunday evening.

MT will be the default for the Sunflower event and if things go well there it will also be moved to the regular clients. So in other words there should be a very good chance to get a hold of some of them.
