It shouldn't be, where do you get that number?

It should be around
850MB download for the entire Sunflower event + around 20MB for the renderer
2MB for this session
60KB per frame, with around 10-20MB uploads

In BOINCmanager, transfer tab. The task was taking forever to download. So I looked at the transfer tab, and that is the size it told me. 6.10.58. The length of time it took to download indicates to me that it wasn't lying.

Edit: I just noticed that 1119 was cancelled. Was it because of the d/l size?

Sorry, no. If I see it again, I will make a note of it.

Nope, it completed and the server cancelled all remaining results that had not yet started. Don't abort the download, though, you will probably need it for the next sessions.

This shot happens to be one of my favourite shots in the movie; so idyllic and quiet - a good example of what you can do with Blender if you are really good at it.

Based on the feedback above it was possible to detect a coding error in the new code that handles file deletion. In very rare conditions, when two clients happened to contact the server on exactly the same time, the memory where a particular database lookup stored its results would have a slight risk of getting partly or entirely garbled. This would in some very specific cases cause the server to ask the client to delete a randomly selected file (amongst those in the currently running sessions) and then ask it to re-download it.
