A 6000 frames animation, made with the game engine. Movements recorded to IPO curves. Ca. 10 different materials, some with SSS, reflection, tansparency...

And two softbodies.

SSS is a fullframe effect, hence the change in frame split setting.
Furthermore it doesn\'t seem to do the SSS pass at all - or perhaps just very quickly?

Right, SSS is not at all. Only at 2-3 materials.

I noticed that too, some of these WU\'s are pretty intense. But after looking at some of the results they look pretty cool. .

Hehe. The estimate is based on the units already rendered (which were faster), so in cases like this (where there are some very slow units inbetween fast ones) it will be slightly off.

I can\'t believe there\'s actually a wikipedia page for estimate, or the fact that you actually posted a link to it.
