And in a similar vein you now have to have at least 0.0001 avg credit to create or edit your profile. Sorry guys, there's no way we can keep up with automated spam-bots creating new fake but almost believable profiles every 30 secs. |

Why average, why not just any credit? |

Because that's the feature that BOINC has for its profile pages. (And any credit from within quite some time will give you a recent avg credit of more than this). |

Also, a valid email address is now required in order to create/edit team descriptions. 18691 teams (or around 70MB of spam) have been removed and another few are on the list to be removed next weekend. The team descriptions were spam. [Edit:] An additional 34 teams were removed. |
