...Linux CUDA...

This is good news. I look forward to will be tested.

We will stay in GPU mode for now, though.

I understand.

Yeah! Linux CUDA works fine. ;-) http://burp.renderfarming.net/result.php?resultid=8665628

After "forget and let it simply run" for quite a while I'm very surprised that this session is already at 80%, raising from 78 to 80 in almost only 2 days, so it should be finishing in a few days. Has the amount of CUDA users raised?
Guess I won't hit the 2 mio. mark with it then but whatever. ;-)

How many GPU users do we have? I only have one host that's nVidia, my laptop, which is getting a lot of use lately (maybe 6 hours a day) compared to what it used to but my Internet connection is poor at my worksite and the largish BURP files are a problem. My DVR is ready with an ATI 24/7, though...

Would like to know that also, my last comment was an "indirect" question on this, since I believed the speed of the session had increased - but obviously got no answer. ;-)
I browsed a bit around the stats myself, but it is too time consuming to check them out for active CUDAs. Guess only Janus knows the numbers. ;-)

Too bad my GTX660 died yesterday, had to downgrade to a 560Ti on one of my hosts. I hope I can let the newly ordered GTX760 still run a bit on the session to see how it performances.

If you look at the server status it tells you how many GPU tasks are in progress. Currently it's at 83, so it will be roughly that amount of PCs.

*facepalm* Ouch, correct, forgot that the server status page is now a bit more detailed about that.
The last field with the last 24 hours could be the exact amount of users we searched for. So it should be 61, or nearly.

I would say there are probably fewer than that, due to cache settings.

I think the GPU tasks where configured for "live" rendering - in order to quickly kill them in case something went wrong. That should mean very little caching per card.
The number of active cards per day goes up and down between 50-100 - which is a very reasonable number of cards for the current tests.

I don't get more than 1 WU per card at both of my hosts, so it's likely that this is happen for all users. However, I don't see the typical line "this host reached limit of tasks in progress", so it doesn't seem to be configured server side.
Does the app detect this itself?

Might be just me, but this doesn't look right. Please don't tell me we wasted four and a half months for this to not work out...

The video looks indeed a bit confusing (and low detailed) to me, too. Also, a majority of frames is only black. I wonder why some of these then did take so long to crunch...
But since this scene should be for a music video I guess there must be some sense to it. ;-)
