Additional information : this project will only render the volumetric mist of the scene. All the trees and objects have a holdout material.

Ah that had me very confused for a while - expected to at least see some objects in there

Sorry I wanted to put that in the description but it seems I can't edit it.

The image on top doesn't look right.
Unless it was turned by 90°, the aspect ratio doesn't correspond to what I uploaded, and it seems the number of samples is much lower (it should be 40)

If you have a look at some finished frames, you'll see that the size and aspect ratio are correct. So i guess it has been resized or rotated for the session preview.
e.g.: http://xmlrpc.burp.renderfarming.net/img_handler.php?session=3003&frame=302
But i don't know about the samples.

Samples are at 40, the session preview shows just a cut out while rendering and a scaled movie when it is done; it also doesn't handle fully transparent images very well.
You can use CATS to download the raw frames "live" while it is rendering.

Thanks. I forgot the live download was on CATS.

How did this one turn out? I like how the video encoder decided to turn it into some kind of abstract art in the preview, hehe.
A little curious to hear what came out of it.

Yeah the video preview has heavy data mosh.

The combined image looks like this:

And here it is inside the scene :

It's only one half but the whole image is 3840x2800 pixels wide.
I didn't render the other half yet because I decided to add a creature in the scene. (normally it will be in the other half so I won't have to re-render anything)
