At the moment all finished animation are named movie_mpeg4_qXX.avi. Wouldn\'t it be better to give the unique names like: burp<session number>_movie_mpeg4_qXX.avi?

On the server they are located in directories named after the session id. This all has to do with the structure of the mirror network tree.

I guess there\'s a way to suggest a browser what name should be used for the attached file. Perhaps that could do the trick, hm...

I was just thinking that yesterday whilst downloading some files from here, would be nice to have the files called the name of what ever the render was. Rather than MPEG4 etc etc

nothing less complicated than that...

<?php
 ...
 ...
 header(\"Content-Length: \" . filesize($file_to_download));
 header(\"Content-type: video/avi\");
 header(\'Content-Disposition: attachment; filename=\"\'.$filename_to_use.\'\"\');
 readfile($file_to_download);
 ...
 ...

If it was only that simple, hehe. The issue here is that you aren\'t downloading them from the central server but through a mirror network where the files are automatically renamed already. My idea is to include a name as parameter for the mirrors in a future edition so that the central server can send this along to the mirror when you browse to the file - your browser will then suggest another default name.
