Couldn\'t find the search box to search the forum so if this has been covered don\'t shoot me down ;)

The RAC never seems to do downwards even when not running BURP, any chance this can be set to decay the RAC?

The strange thing is, if you see the RAC of the Hosts, it decreases when there is no work. Only the user RAC stays the same when there is no work.

It is odd you would expect user RAC and team RAC to go down too

And God said"Let there be light."But then the program crashed because he was trying to access the 'light' property of a NULL universe pointer.

From what I see in the RAC history shown in the BOINC manager

There is no change in RAC when no work is being done. Each time credit is reported though the RAC updates based on credits earned.

I have a long flatline followed by a dip to almost zero where I had no new work for a long period followed by WUs that generated credits less than .01 pe WU.

So it appears RAC updates correctly when credits are updated, but is not adjusted otherwise.

But if in the BOINC manager statistics tab you see \"Show host average\", you will notice thar the RAC wil decrease to zero when there is no work. So the host RAC goes to zero, but the total RAC doesn\'t.

Hi Prof!
I don\'t take a lot of notice of the RAC figures - pretty meaningless really!

I notice from your sig that you are researching \'karma\'.
Have a look at some of the project forums in our team website http://boinc-australia.net. The team is open to ALL crunchers - if you like what you see there say HI! in the guest forum. If you\'d like to join a team of guys who like to have fun while BOINCing...........

RAC should now decay even when there\'s no work.
