Heya,

I think my server may have missed the resync due to updating the kernal and having to reboot the machine for it to take affect. Could you please reactivate the mirror as I would love to keep supporting this project!

Kind Regards,

There may be something more wrong with it it seems - it doesn\'t complete the update cycle anymore but stops right after sending back its identification.
Do you have all warnings disabled? If so, does it state any errors in the apache errorlog when the server (burp.boinc.dk) accesses mirror.php? - especially between 08 and 09 UTC today?

Thank you for your quick reply.

I was actually unable to read the error_log file as it was over 2GB big. So there must have been something wrong. If you could sync the server again I will be able to get the error\'s for you!

Kind Regards

Whatever you did made it work again - it is now accepting files as it used to.
It would be very interesting to see if the size of the error-log was somehow related to a bug in the mirror-software.

Hm but it went into some kind of infinite loop. Seems its about time to release a new version of the mirror software soon.
Could you post the error?

I think I have may cracked the problem. If you could reactivate the mirror once again I think I have sorted it!

Same issue still, infinite loop. Could we be facing the same issues as seen earlier with another mirro? That another server was too slow to respond and the mirror runs berserk inside the HTTP-util function? If that\'s the case then the fix is already in the next version of the mirror software (bound to be released pretty soon - probably next weekend).

Is the error I get, as it appears my firewall is blocking the outgoing connection. Does it connect to many servers or just yours? If it does connect to different ones, if you can post their IP\'s I will be able to unblock them!

I have now allowed ALL outgoing IP\'s, could you reactivate the server again.

Sorry to be a pain!

BINGO! It has just clicked why my mirror kept going down! (I think)

Looking at the error\'s I have just seen www.dangernerd.com:80 could not connect. I think this may have been down at the time of my resync hence it mucking up and giving me 2GB or a error_log file!

Then it is indeed the known error from earlier. This bug is fixed in the development code that is soon to be packed and released.
